Yesterday the 10th of July we held what might be the biggest one day Walking Football Tournament ever played in the Country with 31 teams taking part.
It takes a lot of willing volunteers to make something like this happen, from getting the cars parked to selling the raffle tickets but the biggest thanks must go too Geoff & Brian who made this happen.
Our wonderful referees who managed the games beautifully, many are homegrown players who take the whistle to improve our own training game experience.
Again special mention too Dick & Alan.
We were joined by teams from around the Southeast but if we mention one team it would be the over seventies from Gibraltar.
Their enthusiasm for the city, the game was obvious.
Erpingham were the proud winners of the over seventies with Boston R/U
Norwich City winning the over 60’s with 4Sport finishing R/U
Norwich City Yellow beating Norwich City Greens in the over fifties
Our chosen Charity… one we have supported twice before. Early indications suggesting something between £1500 & £2000 raised!
